After so much time far from DA, here I am back at work!
I had the chance to travel quite a lot in the last months, mainly for vacation, and I have tons of pictures shot around Europe from Ireland to Belarus, from Malta to Lithuania. I'm always quite busy at work and I have all my internet activities, but anyway I hope to find some more time to upload some new pics on my gallery on DA, I promise it!
In the meanwhile at least I updated my journal, still stopped at my birthday so many months ago... I'm getting old!

Oh yes, today I'm officially 30 years old....... how old I am!
And to celebrate my elderly age (and my graduation) I received a very special and long awaited present... a wonderful CANON EOS 350D! So now prepare to see tons of new wonderful photos! Or at least, the camera is good, let's home that also the man behind it won't be too bad!

After my graduation day I decided I deserved some celebration in the way I like most, i.e. a nice trip around my beloved central/eastern Europe!
So I left Genova on the 2nd of October, destination Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. I spent there just one night and the following morning under the rain (I already knew Bratislava's old town quite well) and then I took a train to Poprad-Tatry, from where I moved at once to the pretty little town of Levoča.
After visiting Levoča, the following day I went to explore the mysteries of the huge Spišský hrad and Spišská Kapitula, before arriving in the "capital of the East Slovakia", the lovely Košice.
I spent 2 nights in Košice, doing a daytrip to Bardejov as well, before changing country and taking a train to the wonderful capital of Hungary, Budapest.
Two nights in Budapest are surely not enough, but I always need to move, so I visited Szentendre, Székesfehérvar, Veszprém and finally arrived in Győr for my last night abroad.
The following day I visited the pretty Győr and went back to Bratislava from where I flew back home...

Another wonderful trip around this wonderful place called Europe!

It's DONE!
From today I'm officially a MECHANICAL ENGINEER!
It has been really a LONG day, my graduation was in the afternoon, it was a long wait, but then my joy is really amazing and I look forward to start partying with my friends on the weekend!
There are no words to describe how HAPPY I am right now, so I'll just stop righ here, and enjoy my new life, as an engineer!

It's time for the great day...

After many long years of (little) study and (little) work it's time to finish my university career. On Thursday 28th of September, around 4pm I'll be in front of the University Commission talking about all that bullshit I wrote on my thesis! Fifteen minutes of terror and then I'll have that piece of paper!

Wow, I really cannot imagine it, and I'm already in big agitation! Anyway let's think about what will happen next... beer, beer, beer and maybe beer too! And next week a new trip around Eastern Europe for a week: Slovakia and Hungary are waiting for me and my camera!
